"Back to the Beat"
Choreography: Hannah Harris
Dancers: Evelyn Ealey, Macie Hoben, Taylor Quinn, Braelyn Valente-Phillips
Videography & Editing: Hannah Harris
Music Editor: Ryan Gehring
"Before coming to Elon, Hannah Harris was rooted in jazz dance—now, she’s tapping back into that foundation for her senior project. This work dives into the raw, unfiltered essence of jazz—before the stage, before the spotlight. Exploring historic jazz music, original movement, and iconic film influences, she’s reclaiming jazz where it truly lives: in the streets, kitchens, and speakeasies. Movement, history, and soul—unfiltered. #JazzUnstaged"
"a disruption in time"
Choreography: Gia Nguyen
Dancers: Hannah Harris, Gia Nguyen, Katey O'Connell, Meredith Peck
Rehearsal Assistant: Jessica Guidice
Music: "Nocturne in C Sharp Minor" performed by Hauser, written by Frederic Chopin, "Stereotypes" by Black Violin, "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" by Nico Vega
"The relentless push and pull of everyday life—the weight of routine, the suffocating pressure to fit a mold that was never made for you. No matter how hard you try, it’s never enough. You give your best, only to be torn down again and again, each failure cutting deeper than the last. The agony builds, an unbearable crescendo, until finally… something snaps. A disruption in time."
"going once, going twice"
Choreography: Pheriby Bryan & Evelyn Ealey
Dancer: Pheriby Bryan
Music: "Let Me Go" by Giveon, "I Put a Spell on You" by Nina Simone, "Twelfth of Never" by Nina Simone
"This piece celebrates internal strength and the strength others have given unto us with unending love and selfless compassion. Like starting and ending a day as the clock strikes twelve, we start a journey with only the strength we know and end with the love of so many guiding hands. The second section of this piece is dedicated to the mentors whose compassion made it possible."
"Loose Pages"

"Echoes and Remnants"
Choreography: Katey O'Connell
Dancers: Gia Nguyen, Katey O'Connell
Rehearsal Assistant: Myah Shepherd
Music: "Signals" by Stephen Keech, "Rome" by Dermott Kennedy
"Time moves forward, yet memories pull us back, shaping who we are and who we will become. There is a bittersweet nature of memories, as they are intense but fleeting. Memories can be both beautiful and painful. Movement ebbs and flows like recollection itself, shifting between raw vulnerability and joyous celebration, reflecting the moments that defined these past four years. Independence once felt necessary, but true strength emerged through connection and through leaning on one another. As the present rewinds into the past, the emotions stirred by memory, including longing, nostalgia, love, and resilience, become tangible. This serves as a reminder of both the weight of goodbye and the passion that continues to drive us forward."
"devil's game"
Choreography: Aryanna Vindas
Dancers: Abigail Mulvaney, Delaney Tonkin, Aryanna Vindas
Music: "Roses" by Jaehyun, "Can't Get You" by Jaehyun
"Time is a fickle thing—sometimes a cruel trickster, sometimes a reason to celebrate. It stretches heartbreak into eternity, turns fleeting moments into lifetimes, and never quite moves the way we want it to. One moment, it weighs heavy, dragging us through longing and regret. The next, it twists itself into something absurd, almost laughable—a rush of joy, a moment of reckless abandon.
This piece explores the push and pull of time’s relentless game, where heartache and exhilaration blur together, and we’re left chasing something we can never quite hold onto."

Music: "Maybe Man Instrumental" by AJR, "2085" by AJR, "Finale" by AJR
"Bottlenecked explores the challenges of navigating a rigorous journey, where every turn feels like a tight squeeze. It’s about the struggle, the pressure, and the moments when we feel stuck—but also about the power of supporting each other through it all. The piece captures the push and pull of perseverance, highlighting how we lean on one another to make it through."
"Eternora"
Choreography: Mia Johnson & Emma Morris
Dancers: Pheriby Bryan, Hannah Harris, Mia Johnson, Emma Morris, Gia Nguyen, Katey O'Connell, Meredith Peck, Sarah Rothacker, Aryanna Vindas
Rehearsal Assistant: Evelyn Ealey
Music: "Time" by Pink Floyd, "2009" by Mac Miller, "Oysters in My Pocket" by Royal Otis
Music Editor: Ryan Gehring
"“Eternora” the endless power of now, is an encouragement to live in the present. This is the first and last time that all of the BFA class of 2025 will dance together. Time is the most valuable resource, one you can’t get back, so it’s important to be wise with how you spend it. This dance is a reminder to not let life pass us by as we move on from Elon, and to be present with each other for the remaining moments we have."
